I am running LCN-PCHK on a Raspberry Pi along with OpenHAB 3 and it works great. Now I am expanding into the apartment next door and want to add another LCN-PKU for the next apartment. 

My plan is to run USBIP on another Raspberry Pi and present the virtual USB interface to the rPi that is already running LCN-PCHK.

Can I connect one copy of LCN-PCHK to two LCN-PKU interfaces? 

Do I need a second license for two USB connections? It will still only be one connection to OpenHAB.

One LCN-PCHK can service one LCN-PKU only

So you need for the second LCN-PKU a second LCN-PCHK license

In this case, you have two choices

- 1 Raspberry Pi + 1 LCN-PCHK + 1 LCN-PKU

or

- 1 LCN-PKE

Thank you. Since it's a rental apartment, I will stick with the rPi and another copy of LCN-PCHK.
